New PROMJet Windows Software supports USB 2.0 (Sep 25, 2006)
To support the popular USB ports under Microsoft Windows 2000 and XP, EmuTec has developed a new software to support PROMJet with USB 2.0 ports. Now the PROMJet users can choose between the optional parallel port interface, Ethernet interface and the USB standerd interface under Windows XP. Support for Windows Vista will follow.

PROMJet now supports SPI Flash Memory (July 10, 2005)
To support the popular serial SPI FLASH devices, EmuTec has released a new version of its best selling PROMJet memory emulator. The new version can support parallel (8/16-bit) as well as serial 1-bit FLASH devices without using any external adapters for protocol conversion. SPI support is added by acquiring the OPT-SPI that allows PROMJet to support this additional memory protocol. PROMJet recognizes both reading, programming and Get ID FLASH commands. Support is available for the 8-pin SOIC FLASH footprint.

PROMJet support for LPC/FWH FLASH released (Feb 1, 2005)
EmuTec Inc. is pleased to announce the support for low pin count and Firmware hub LPC/FWH flash devices. This memory protocol is supported by adding the OPT-LPC option to PROMJet. It allows PROMJet, without adding external adapters for protocol conversion, to support serial (4bit) as well as parallel (8/16bit) FLASH devise. PROMJet recognizes reading, programming and Get ID FLASH cycles. Support for 32-pin PLCC and 40-pin TSOP flash footprints is available by acquiring the appropriate adapter.

New DebugJet GNU driver released (Apr 4, 2004)
EmuTec has released a DebugJet driver for the GNU Debugger. The driver supports multi-sessions of the GNU debugger running simultaneously on a single DebugJet and supporting multiple cores of similar or dissimilar architectures (e.g. mix of PPC and ARM). The driver is an application that runs under windows and make DebugJet looks like a GDB monitor. This allows the user to use their version of GDB. The driver also adds more functionality to GDB such as better run control and a more comprehensive support for hardware breakpoints..

New DebugJet released
To better support the expanding JTAG emulation market, EmuTec has released a new version of its popular DebugJet JTAG emulator. The new version is based on a 32-bit Microprocessor (ca. 100 MIPS) and utilizes the latest FPGA technology. The base device has a 32Mbyte of RAM and 2Mbyte of FLASH for Firmware updates and is fully software upgradeable via FTP. The new DebugJet is one of the fastest JTAG emulator in the market (if not the fastest). The new units support the ARM and PowerPC CPUs and cores.

To support the new PROMJet devices, EmuTec has released a new firmware update for DebugJet. It also provides faster download speed for PROMJets. The firmware can be upgraded on site and is free. Please contact EmuTec with your DebugJet serial number to receive the upgrade file, password and instructions.

| New PROMJet Software released
EmuTec has released version 3.3 of PROMJet Windows software. The new version supports all the features of the newly introduced units and also fixes some of the known bugs in version 3.0. A new set of libraries and DLLs has been also released. The new Software supports all versions of PROMJets. It is available for free download to existing PROMJet users.

New PROMJet released
EmuTec has introduced today its latest generation of PROMJet devices. The new units have the largest available memory size (up to 256Mbit) and access time (up to 18ns) in the market. It is user configurable to support 8 and 16bit FLASH and EPROM devices without the use of any external adapters. Both configurations are supported at full capacity and access speed. The new PROMJet consumes about 250mA compared to 700mA for the older units that used to run relatively worm. Also the new devices support any PC or laptop printer port.
